where do i hook up my RCAs into my stock radio to run a system?

 

It should really be obvious, its just two plugs, black and red, if you havn't got them on your stock radio then you wont be able to run a system.

 

thats if you can get the freakin head unit off! 6hours later i finally got it installed using a line out converter tapped into the rear speaker wires. didnt even have to remove the radio!

 

but which wire to you tap into to power your amp? and also how do you drill through the firewall, i couldnt find any opening. thanx

 

you can run the remote wire off your fuse panel. just find a power source that turns on with your car like temp control or something like that. if you have a test light that would be most helpful to find power. there already is a hole in your fire wall. depending on the year of your car on mine there is a rubber gromet on the firewall to the right of the battery. you have to take that plastic thing covering the battery and such to expose the firewall. just remove the rubber gromet and use like a metal coat hanger to fish through the power wire.
