Default Install Nav system into '06 not originally equipped

I have a question: is it possible to install a factory Audi navigation system into a 2006 A6 that was not originally outfitted with one from the factory? I know that the harness plugs for satellite radio are ready and waiting, but I see no connectors for a navigation system. I figure if the MMI is already set up for it, and the buttons are there on the console, a unit should be able to be introduced. If anyone has any information I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

typically speaking the cost of the wireharness for the car is little to nothing when you mass produce it
and the cost to make a new one because of a couple optional accessories ... is much more...

my thought would be that it is there ....
