Default Total nightmare with A6 instrument cluster. Help needed!

Hi all, Ive been using this site for a while now for information etc. ITs very handy. This is my first post. I have a A6 3.0 TDi Quattro Saloon on a 07. The DIS stopped working.
I read online that they can be fixed, so, i found a company called Cartronix who claimed they can sort out your cluster for £150.
When i received the cluster back I plugged her in- a chip on the abck of the unit set on fire and burned out. I presumed they had cocked it up, so sent it back to bedone again ( free of charge)
On receiving the unit back, again I plugged in , and yes, you guessed it, the same happened.
Cartronix say they have tested the unit on the bench and it was fine when they sent it out. They say the problem is the car.
I have spoke to a few auto electricians in my area, they're willing to look at the car, but need some cluster wiring diagrams first, pinouts etc. I cant find them anywhere. Does anyone have access to these that can post them up for me.
Sorry for the long post. Thanks in advance.

what's the pump's part number ? If the pump controller connects ok with the VAG-Com and the ABS warning light is ON the dash then there should be a fault code there. Very unlikely 2 ABS sensors to be duff, you can do some output tests and see if the pump responds as it should. I suspect the "repaired" ABS module to be still duff, hence the warning lights. I am breaking a passat with ASR/traction control, if you get back to me with the pump part number/controller part number i could check if the same as mine...I have had fitted passat b5 ABS controllers to audi a6 before as they are built on the same b5/c5 platform so they will work ok !

Thumbs up Cartronix great service

Hi Just to add to your comments - I used Cartronix in South England after reading a number of forums that they fixed faulty LCD repairs. They were really good and after initially not getting the new panel to work - soldered all circuits on the back of the dashboard to fix the fault. All this for free and at least another 45 minutes of labour. Would highly recommend them. I hope you got your issue sorted with your display!
