I have a Q7 and I just purchased a trailer which requires a 7 pin connector. On the rear of my vehicle, next to the trailer hitch, there is a small plate with 4 screws. It's about 2 inches by 2 inches. If I take those 4 screws out, can I then plug in the 7 pin connector to that spot? I see on the internet there are 7pin connectors. I'm wondering if I need to purchase the 7 pin trailer harness connector pin. I'm guessing I have to purchase this harness to plug into the spot on my vehicle, then I can plug in the 7pin plug from the trailer into this harness. Does that sound right?
