Default Upgrade A8 Tail lights...

I was given, but lost a link for instructions, etc. on how to upgrade my tail lights on my 05 A8 to a later model. Lights fit "footprint", however, going to LEDs will change draw. Apparently there is a conversion "harness" or "kit", I'm just not sure where to find? Thanks.

Default Dont install "resistors"

trying to upgrade to LED DRLs I discovered: the inline 50W 6ohm resistors are heating up to 335F on the exterior, according to my digital infrared micro temp. They are also EACH drawing 50W of alternator output, putting more load on the alternator than the bulbs. You will find the higher draw either makes wire insulation more brittle or it will bake the insulation right off the local wiring harness.
