As I have mentioned, I just picked up a 2003 A4 Quattro 3.0. It does not have the Bose sound system

I am very short of money, but I need a good stereo. Is there such a thing as a used set of components -- like the Bose speakers and head unit? There must be people who upgrade their system and then sell the old components.

ANybody got any advice on this matter?

Go to a car audio shop, or best buy or something they will show you the kit your car can be used to get an aftermarket deck. i believe the kit is like 40 bucks. plus install of the new radio, plus a new radio. kinda pricey.
