Hey so i just installed a new head unit, its a pioneer avic950bh. I had a non bose symphony II in my 2003 audi a4 prior.

The rear speakers weren't working but i figured out after some research that it was because i didn't have the remote line for the amp connected.

Now the rear works but there is no audio coming from the front....
When i put the factory head unit back in, everything works front and back.
I checked the RCA cables for continuity to the harness and they are both fine.
They are both plugged in the correct slots according to every diagram I've found for the factory harness.

Any idea whats going on here? I'm sure there is something stupid im missing here.
