I tried searching multiple forums and google and couldn't find a wiring diagram or location of the stock BOSE amp in my '01 S4. I hooked up my amp and sub to the speakers in the rear deck, but need a remote turn-on lead. Where is the BOSE amp and does anyone know what wire is the switched 12v?

 

It's on the driver's side, just behind the rear wheel well. It's forward of the nav/changer/tool kit. Hope these pics help! Obviously, that's not the Bose amp, but a 5F cap I mounted to the bracket.

To access the amplifier is really easy. Remove the plastic trunk edge / lip. Tug and pop the side panel carpet towards the center of the car.
