Where is the OBD-2 connector in the A5?

I'm not positive, but...
In my 02 A6 it is under the driver's side dash near the hood release. In some other audis it is under a panel in the center console near the e-brake handle. Either way the standard requires that it is easily reachable from the driver's seat. Good luck, let us know where you find it.

I looked at all these places already, without success.
I know the requirement, but I experienced already several times that some manufacturers seem to make fun of hiding the connector as good as they can. If you know where it is and how to remove the cover then it in all cases I have seen it was in reach from the driver's seat, but sometimes a little tool -screwdriver or similar - was needed to remove the cover - another requirement (no tool required to get to it) disregarded by some car makers.
Does anyone really KNOW where it is in the A5, PLEEEAASE?
