I just bought a 2007 RS4. It has an XM radio module installed. When I picked up the car, the channel list was garbled, and the unit would not display it's radio ID when I went into Setup. I unplugged the module in the trunk and replugged it in. When I started the car up, the channel list was gone and only showed channel 000, however it still would not display its Radio ID. One thing is the radio continued to play the preview channel so I know the radio is receiving the satellite signal. The radio kept going back and forth between displaying INITIALIZING and the message about having a satellite radio and contact the dealer to set it up.

I activated the unit with the folks at XM using the ID printed on the module in the trunk. After listening to the preview channel for 30 minutes, the radio did not update the channel list or activate the radio. Any ideas?
