19x9 rims 225 width tire on A4?
Hey everyone, I'm new to Audi's and just picked up an 06 A4. It currently has the stock 17" 235 width tires on it but I found a deal on some actual OEM RS4 rims (19"x9) with the stock 255/35R19 still on them. These tires work out to be about 0.7" taller than stock and my question is with stock suspension, would these tires bolt on with no hassle (rolling fenders, spacers?) I'm sure this has been done before but could not find any concrete information. I'd assume it would but the RS4 has slightly more flared fenders so who knows.
Thanks for your help.

I think 18 is as big as you should go, these probablly will rub. Personally I have 16's rite now, I'm just moveing up too a 225/45/17 tires. That way still a nice ride and none of the problems. Plus tires are about half of those 19's.

Well 235 45 17 is OEM on many but I believe they're only 7.5" wide rims so moving to a 9" rim may pose an outer offset issue. I'm pretty sure people are doing it. I spoke with a very respected audi dealerships tuning company and he said he has a set of 19x8.5 with 255 rubber that fits no problem. Only question is the offset. I really just want the OEM wheels but want to make sure they'll work before blowing a nice stack.
