Default b6 lower front grille removal

I am trying to remove the lower front grille inbetween the fogs to black it out, and I cannot figure out how to get it off. Do I have to remove the bumper? Im hoping to avoid this. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

ok so i got my lower grill off, there are 3 vertical colums that are right behind the lower grill. the have those puch pins that i talked about. slighty puch on the 3 pins that you can see. there are another 2 or so that you can see right below the top of the bumer. after you have push on those pins with a flat head screwdriver, you can look at the lower grill from the front and you will see a series of clips that are barel visible that are on the top of the chrome besil in the grill itself. place the screw driver inbetween the black grill insert and the chrome besil and start to apply a slight twisting motion on the two. this should go and pop the two out of the bumper.

if this dosent help let me know i can take some pics
