can anyone point me or tell me how to remove the lower center grille (b6)?

or if you can point me to a black out grille diy that shows how to do this.

u gotta remove the licence plate if u have one
u gotta like wiggle or move it up and down
its easy to get it off

 

thx guys... now... has anyone tried de-chroming the back piece below the trunk?
should look sweet on a black car (which i have).

 

I saw a post about this a little while ago, there was a guy that wanted to do the same thing, not sure if he ever figured out how. I'll try to see if I can find it.

 

Heh, I'm not one to de-chrome... That's why I chromed my mirrors and door handles, but to each their own. Now, if you have a black car, then it looks fine, but for all other color's, it takes away from the look IMO.

If you get that chrome piece below the trunk lip painted black, make sure to post some pics, I would like to see that.
