Default Considering painting underneath bumpers and sideskirts. What do you think?

So I'm thinking of painting the black trims underneath the front and rear bumpers and sideskirts to match the color of my car (Santorin Blue Pearl) on my b5 A4. If the work is done right, would it matter that its plastic being painted? If you don't know what I'm talking about, take a look at the pictures below to see what I mean.

Nope, should look great. Look on www.audiworld.com for the DIY called "painting your lowers" ("lowers" are what they're called). Hit them with adhesion promoter after cleaning and drying them thoroughly, then filler primer (to take care of some of the roughness), then a few coats of paint followed by a few coats of clear. You can search for "painting lowers" on here too and you'll find many pics and some writeups and cautions.
