cracked paint
Alright, we have owned our car for less then a month, and my wife decided to back into a pickup... Broke the drivers side taillight, and made a small dent with a crack in the paint about an inch long. I have ordered the light, but what do I do about the paint? I want to seal the crack so it doesn't start to peal or rust. Is there some touchup stuff I can use? Anything else you recommend? Thanks for your time. Here is a picture of my car & the color I need. It doesn't show the crack, sorry.

RE: cracked paint
if its a bumper then it wont rust... because they're maid of a soft plastic compound. also, if you use touch up paint, it will just crack the touch up paint later on, you have to get rid of the crack in the paint completely. the only way of doing this is sanding it down and patching, however that colour is really hard to do at home, and actually body shops will also have some issues with it as well.
however here is a link to another thread about touch up painting.
