Default Debadging problem

Just debadged my 96' A4. All in all everything went pretty smooth, but because the car's paint is so old you can still still a very slight shadow of the "A4" and "2.8" logo's. The residue of the glue is gone. I tried some compound wax and basic car cleaner and it did tone it down alot, but you can still see the shadow slightly. Any suggestions on how to completely remove it?

I already had the whole car compounded in august. You sure it won't ruin the paint?
