HID's in fogs

Default HID's in fogs

I have the HID kit for the low beam but i was wondering if it was possible to put another hid kit on for the lower fog lights bulb h1's i believe. I dont see why not I just wan everything to match xenon has anyone done this?

you can just get a kit try and see if you can find a plug n play one so you dont have to cut any wires

I did it last year. Works great but there's no plug and play - you have to drill out the back of the housings to run the HID wires. It's easy though - don't let the small amount of work dissuade you.

Not that I'm aware of but basically install the bulb, drill the back of the housing to route the bulb/ballast wiring, and connect the car's fog wiring to the blade terminals on the bulb wires. That's it really. It's a very straightforward job.

im getting 8000k h7 and i want the fogs to match but i dnt no if 8000k fogs will cause melting or anything. lol

Nope - OEM fogs can take it no problem.

just make sure they are the 35 watt and not the 50watt.

pa4ul i dont think watts convert to k at all so therefore i have no clue if they would be 35 watt

Color temp and power draw are not related. Some places sell both 35w and 55w kits - specify that you want a 35w kit in the color temp of your choice.
