Hi all,

When LED accents came out I remember thinking I've got to get those on the headlights but it looks like you can't on my 2003 A6 3.0 Quatro (correct me if I'm wrong ).

So, lately I've been eyeballing lower grill LED strips that claim to be universal-mount and all and seem to be pretty cheap to a fair price on amazon. Wanted to get an opinion on that - has someone done that and if so is it easy to install, any issues, anything I'd need to know, etc, etc. Any suggestions as to what to get as prices seem to range wildly from $20 to $150?

I'm no mechanic or anything but can certainly handle some wiring, just want an advise on whether I can get some diy accents on the lower grills without a major diy headache

hmm it will probably look tacky. NO offense. Plus the lightoutput wont be very great either. You can install them though. Should be very straight forward.
