Looking at 19" R8 wheels - Tire size to order??
Hey guys,
I'm about to purchase 19" R8 wheels and I have no idea where to start on searching for tires...every other car I've owned that I've upgraded the wheels, they had already came with tires. I have a 2001 A6 2.7L Quattro with factory wheels & new tires [< 3k miles] (215/55/R16). Now that summer's just around the bend I want to upgrade wheels/suspension. As I said, the R8's are 19" - what tire size should I be shopping around for? 235/40...225/35...215/55 (like mine are now just in 19s)..? Please help me out if you know a lot about the 2.7's & tires. Also, in your opinion, d'you think i should purchase 5-10mm spacers as well? Let me know! Thanks guys.
