OK just got my A4 tinted yesterday. This would be my first time tinting a car so I didn't really know what to go with. The 54% that the shop had just looked like it wouldn't make a difference... but the 17% looked way too dark.. the guy even told me that's what he has, and he has to roll his windows down to back up at night. I'm not interested in that, even if it looks good. So I went with 35% all around.

On the way home, I flip-flopped on whether I liked it or not.. first it was way too light, then when I got in the car it was too dark, then after driving a while.. blah blah. Finally I decided that it's perfect.

I would strongly suggest to anyone that's never had tint done before to go with 35% for the first go. The visibility is a bit lower but it's not too bad.
