painting calipers

RE: painting calipers
I did the calipers on my A4 in black at first. After about a week of driving the dust buried them and they didn't even look like they'd been painted. I'd go with red honestly - they look good that way. Yellow (to me) screams "Honda" unless you have a yellow car. Can't go wrong with red though:

RE: painting calipers
Sorry about the delay in the reply - was on vacation. I cleaned the calipers with brake cleaner, then painted them using Duplicolor Engine Enamel (500 degree) from AutoZone. I sprayed the paint into the cap, and used a 1" foam brush to brush it on. I used Ford Red (only time I'll ever use anything with the Ford name lol), and did four coats on each caliper. No clearcoat on it yet - that'll be soon though. I wanted to give it plenty of time to cure before clearing them.
