What year/model do you have?
There are such things as auto dimming side and rear view mirriors. they will dim when the sensors pick up a certain amount of light so you don't get so much glare from peoples head lights. my parents actually have them on their avalon and it's a really neat feature.
I'm sure Audi has them on at least some newer models, but I have no idea which they might be

its 2010 a4, and i was just asking because how about if i get my windows tinted that would just messed up that feature which is neat like how you stated.
