i dont know if i notice a speed difference, but there is definately am happy that the basic things work.

I would like to have the spell checker available as well as smilies to insert in the message.

 

i thought the same thing. Go to your user Cp and then to edit options. Near the bottom there is a box asking at what age do you want the forum to not show the thread. Example: thread is 2 months old and forum default is 1 month so it doesnt show. Change your options to show all thread 1 year old or younger or simply all threads and you'll be good to go.

 

Go to your userCP/Edit Options and scroll to the bottom to change your Miscellaneous Options to "Enhanced Interface" for smilies and advanced formatting in threads.
