Why can't I see pics that people put in their posts? I can see the sigs and pics in the albums, just not in the posts [:-]

Even when I right click on the red X to show picture.... It still doesn't show...
Any Ideas? Is it because they are not embedded?

 

are you surfing AF from home or work? Some of teh pics show up as red-x's for me, when I surf from work, because teh link is blocked. from home I only get red-x's when teh pic-link is dead or down.

I think you also need java or active-x (I don't remember which, at the moment) enabled...

 

yeah if its a hosted pic (image shack etc) u r work might be blocking the image...
(like mine does )

Yes, At home on my Mac all the pics show up. At work they are red X's

Image hosting sites are blocked at work....FUCZK!

if you KNEW all the different ways someone witha lotta talent & time on their hands could DO witha smple image file you wouldn't find it so strange that work blocks them.

 

Okay, I brought my Mac Laptop to work and I am hitting our wireless here and I can see all the pics, so it is not something that the server is blocking. It has to be Active X or something!! It just something that is not enabled on my PC.....UGH

 

active x is teh most common way to embed malicious code in images, which is why it's prolly disabled on your PC.
