And to add, the lcd in my '99 A6 is basically unreadable.

50 EURO for LCD and 20$ shipping from Czech republic. Original OEM part, no Chinese BS !!!

I made step by step guide for audi A6 1999 and will post soon.

I bought my 2000 last year, and I am on my second. It is already dropping pixels. This is a ridiculous situation, and a potential safety hazard if you need to take your eyes off the road for longer than you would normally to read things like mpg and so forth. My car told me it was from the UK today (instead of OK).

If any engineers actually read this, then they should also have a piece of the display that shows any codes the car might be throwing, so we don't have to go out and buy VAG COM.


What a monster thread.

I do not know how old this thread is or even if this is still alive
anyway. I have the same on my '00 1.8 A4.
it started loosing lines now I can barealy see anything there.
