First off does anyone know if any transmissions are interchangeable with this one if so, which ones would work.

Second i don't know if anyone else has had transmission issues with the 4.2 but mines will only move forward in the low drive gears and will not reverse or i should say it takes a lot of throttle to reverse.

My plan is to buy a transmission rebuild kit and a new torque converter to have it replaced along with adding a chip of some sort. Any ideas on me doing this to fix my transmission issue are appreciated also best sites to buy the parts kit, chip, and torque converter are greatly appreciated.
