My a6 I bought used it already had a ton of work that needed to be done. Then down the road i ran straight into a huge puddle of water causing water to enter the engine. Then changed the oil types too much down the line after that. So now i have a few tapping lifters and still owe the bank money on this car. Im debating on what to do with it i absolutely love the car no matter whats wrong with it. I also plan on keeping it for a very long time and hooking it up. Now with this car not being a manual but being a semi auto is the same engine i currently have the only option for a swap? or can i drop the 2.7Turbo in this car or am i forced to completely just replace my lifters, valves, and pretty much rebuild this engine to performance engine parts?
