Default 04' a4 1.8t axle problem

ok, I pretty sure the vibration in my seat and steering wheel is from my cv joint/axle. I was wondering if I by the axle (which I saw some on ebay for $100) is the cv joint and boot on the axle itself? Or do I have to by those separately?
How many axles does the a4 1.t have? do they have the same part number?
Thanks everyone.

I assuming yours is a quattro. The front/rear drive axles are different and I know the front has specific drivers/passenger side axles. When I had to replace my CV's I ending replacing the wholes axle assembly (shaft and CV). On my S4 the CV was not serviceable. I would be a little weary or buying parts off ebay, especially if you do not know specific part #'s.
