06 A4 2.0T P0303 #3 Misfire
I have tried to read up on several other posts with people having the same issue. Most have 20 different solutions and i'm trying to narrow down my solutions.
I purchased this car about 2 months ago and ran perfect for 2 weeks. MIL came on with code of boost pressure regulator(or something like that). Took it to used car dealers garage which took 3 trips to finally get care running correct and the MIL to go out.
Now 2 weeks later i feel a strong sputter/hesitation while trying to accelerate. MIL appears and stays on. Friend hooks up his OBD2 and shows code of P0303, #3 misfire. He suggested to start with plugs since i just got the car and have no idea when they have been done. Plugs changed now and start car in driveway and idles and revs up with no problem. I drive it down the road and sputtering/hesitation still there.
I changed #3 coil pack and take for a few minute test drive to see if it fixes the problem. Drives great with no hesitation or sputtering. Park car for 20 minutes and head to work when the issue comes back again.
I am thinking of changing the other 3 coils now, but if that does not work then what would be the next step?
Any suggestions?
