Default 1988 Audi 90Q Lifters

Just bought myself a 1988 Audi 90 Quattro with the straight 5 2.3 cyl. Not much later i figured out i have bad lifters... At start up they come and go but knock pretty loud at high revs. Does anyone know where i can buy Lifters online? Or better yet does anyone know if theres a simple fix to make the knocking go away? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The only way to get rid of the noise is to replace the lifters. I had a 4000s with the same problem , drove it like that for years with no problems , finally broke down & replaced them.
No simple fix though. Different viscosity oils & snake oil products will not work.
