Squealing Brakes on 2011 S5
Hey guys, man I really appreciate your information. Here is my situation: I purchased a used CPO 2011 S5 4 months ago. I love this car. It is my baby. But recently within the last three weeks I've noticed the brakes squeal at low speeds while slow stopping less than 15 mph.
My research on this site indicates this is a common problem for Audi's frorm brand new models to CPOs and caused by glazed pads to European design soft brakes. Seems to be a overall brand design flaw. I think I understand the big picture. I have seen several suggested solutions from Disc Brake Quiet dressing from AutoZone to replacing the pads with HBS Hawk(?) brand pads. My questions now is which solution is most economical and which solution is most efficient in the long run? I'm open to any and all suggestions. If anyone can provide more specific information on the Hawk brake pads that would be great. Here are my specs:
