Post 1991 200 20v turbo quattro boost lag

my 200 has a chip, clean intake, healthy turbo, steel braided fuel lines, etc. but still lags or "bounces" with boost at high rpms. ive had many technicians troubleshoot and to no avail. any ideas?

there is no lag at high rpms the turbo is already spooled up. your thinking of something else. hows the wastegate?

the wastegate is a proper stock 30mm that operates fine. i meant that the boost bounces more than "lags". im not sure if its a fuel delivery problem or air consumption/discharge. looking into replacing all associated parts to rs2 spec....

how much boost are you running and have you looked at you turbos effficency map? theres only so much exhaust your motor can give the turbo maybe you are peaking the the volumetric effecency. and it has no more to give.

airflow is 6121 cfm under 20lb/psi boost. not sure about the volumetric efficiency of the turbo. its stock.
