Default 1996 A4 2.8 Quattro DTC code p1395 questions

recently my a4 has been misfiring on cyl's 3 and 5 spuraticcaly and i got code p1395 low coil power output-stage 3 so i had replaced the coil pack along with the plugs i did not chage the wires because they appear to be in excellent condition but i still have a very random missfire on those cylinders one time the car will run fine then the next it might miss for roughly 1-2 minutes then come back to life if you stand on it then it seems to run fine till the next time. now i have found out that i have a bad o2 sensor can this cause the car to run so rich or lean that it could miss but i always thought that there were default settings in the ecm that it could defer to in the occurence of a bad o2 sensor so i had one a little bit of research on code p1395 and found that one of the fixes was that one of the wires coming out of the ecm could be nicked and be grounding out so i checked all of the wires coming out of the ecm and they all appear to be fine and another remedy was to replace the ecm and i really dont want to see what that would cost to replace so could my o2 sensor be the culrit or am i looking at a new ecm? any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Here's a way to check the plug wires.. When it's dark outside, raise the hood and fire up the car. If the wires are bad you will see arcing from the wires to the valve cover or between wires. I had an issue with my 944 missing like that. One night I fired it up with the hood up and it was arcing all over the place. New wires. Problem solved.

Cool beans. I like it when it's something simple.
