Has anyone had experience with changing the Transmission Control Module (TCM) on a 1999 Avant 1.8L turbo? Is this something that a DIYer do or must the complete tranny be pulled? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

 

tcm is located under the carpet pass fron side.y can replace it yourself but you need to mach the part number and recode the tcu wich is onley poss with vag.
