Default 19's on a B7 S4, Tire size?

This is my first post, but I was wondering can I fit a 19 inch rim with a ture that is not so low profile that the ride suffers? It is for a 06 S4 avant with stock suspension.

Thanks

That'll help you http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html. But PLEASE do not make the overall diameter of the wheel larger!!!

the BASIC answer to your question is no, you can't. That being said, you cud make the suspension softer, but then you prolly end up slammin inoto the bump-stops, which suchs-dunkey-bools. The "rolling" diameter MUST remain teh same, as you can see from the Miata tire doohickey, or your speedo gets a skewered. Bigger WHEEL, means shorter sidewall height. Shorter sidewall height means a firmer, less compliant ride. Less compliant ride means more road feel, more grip (generally speaking), more spilled mega-ultra-gulps, and so therefore dirtier, stickier carpets...
