2.5 Tdi V6 180Bhp quattro 2002 AKE engine

Just had the timing belt, tensioners, water pump etcchanged at my local non francised garage.Since then i have attempted a VAG com tdi timing check via the tdi graph checker. The results indicate advanced timing, and despite numerous adjustments to the pump, have managed to reduce the timing from the upperline down to the midline. This still indicates timing as advanced.

Since, i've discovered that other variants of the 2.5 engine aren't supported by VAG COM TDI checker, and other forums seem to indicate that the graph can't be relied upon. With this in mindi was wondering if anyone has any other technical data on what the timing readings should be?

My understanding is that on the AFB engine. basic settings display group 4 should read
zone 4 : specification 100%
zone 2 : specification retarded
zone 3 : specification 2deg ATDC +/- 2 deg

but would these also be applicable on the AKE engine?
