2000 A4 1.8T shakes on cold start
okay, so i just got my heads replaced after my timing belt broke and bent all my valves (sucks, yeah, i know) so anyways, now, everytime i start up my car cold, it starts to feel like a lay-z-boy with the massage turned on! so anyways, i took it to a german mechanic and he said it could be a lot of things. anyways, i replaced my spark plugs with new platinums, no better. replaced coil packs, no better. he said it could be those or wire harness or air flow meter. i sprayed some brake cleaner on my MAF meter and it STILL doesn't work. when it shakes my CEL flashes, but after it warms up the CEL stays on and drives like a charm, but it keeps chaking until it warms up. help me out, please!

i'd definately........................................ ..............
take the car back to where the head was replaced. demand they pay for the tow and you want your car fixed right.
if they refuse... report them to the better business bureau...
and if a shop didn't do it... i'd go w/ a compression test first... then check the timing. the 1.8t when doing the timing belt is very very easier to loose the timing.

i think they were p0301, 302, 303, 304. all 4 are misfiring, allegedly. i already replaced the fuel injectors, the spark plugs, and the coil packs. still does it. it's been months, please! bump!
