2000 A6 A/C is now defaulting to the ECON mode

2000 A6 A/C is now defaulting to the ECON mode
2000 A6 A/C is now defaulting to the ECON mode. I checked the pressure on the low side and it was around 70psi. I reduced it to 50psi, but it still defaults to ECON. When I press my recirculate button, the A/C works fine! Do I have to reset something? Thanks!
