I have a 2000 A6 with the power seats. I’ve had the car about 6 months and haven’t had any issue with the seats whatsoever. Last night, went to a drive in movie and moved my drivers seat all the way forward so I could lay back.

After the movie, I couldn’t get my seat to move back at all. The same **** will move the seat up and down just fine, it’s just that it won’t move back. It will make a clicking noise as if it’s going to work but that’s it. I’ve checked and couldn’t visualize any obstructions.

Anyone have any ideas what it could be and how to fix the problem? And does anyone know if there’s a way to manually move the seat back until I can get it fixed if it’s something electrical?
