Regarding spark plugs - we have seen a lot of blogs / debates about gapping and brand. What did you gap yours at?

I think I used NGK's last time. Gapped at .030-.032. They came gapped about 0.35-.040, That's too much.

We replaced the ecm. If you bumped or wiggled it, the car died. New one is in and so far so good but still early. The only bad thing is that is where the chip is so right now the new one has no chip / tune. Definitely makes a difference in the power. But running is good, right? My son in law drove it today and let it idle for a long time and it didn't stall out. We've driven twice on 30 minute runs and it's done fine. I'll drive it to work tomorrow - an hour / 41 miles one way - and see how it does?
If it does well, how do you go about getting the chip back? Surely it's not as simple as just sticking it in the new ECM?
