Low oil pressure light comes on when oil temp gauge reads about 200 degrees. Oil level is normal and thereare no abnormal engine noises.Oil pressure was checked about 2 months ago and it was good. The engine has 94,000 miles on it and has regular oil changes with synthetic. Is it possable this is a sensor problem, and is that something that can bechanged without me going to the mechanic.
When I had my timing belt and water pump replaced the mechanic said he saw no signs of engine sludge becoming a problem, which I know is comman with these cars.

Its common for oil switches to go bad, im not sure how common on these cars. I think it isnt too bad to get at but i dont know where it is off the top of my head ill try and find out or someone might post. I wouldnt drive it for now though you dont want to hurt the engine worse if there really is a pressure issue.
