Default 2002 Audi a6 2.7T quattro starting issues

I have recently had my battery replaced, then on the way home from the shop the alternator went out. After replacing the alternator, it is still having intermittent issues starting. From what I have noticed it seems to be something in the braking and automatic gear shifting area, but didn't know if this could keep the car from starting. When I say starting, I mean no clicks or anything, none of the electrical will work on the car until I depress the brake pedal and sometimes have to push and release the button on the gearshift ****. When it does start, immediately after start, it can shut down 2-3 times, but after I get going everything seems fine. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this?

If anyone has this issue, it turned out to be a bad connection between the fuse box and power supply under the dash.
