Default 2002 B6 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8t Starting Problems........ughh

So about a month ago car just shut down on me. No acceleration nothing. Would not start up at all. It would crank but not start like has hesitation. At the time and on occasion would get the oil light pop up. The red one. Also had some issues with intermittent acceleration problems pulling out from stop signs etcetera. So the work began....first thought was the fuel pump. So had it change along with fuel filter. Nothing. Next the fuel pump relay. Nothing. Then on to the sensors. First did the crankshaft sensor cause it was popping the code for it. Nothing. Next did the camshaft sensor. Nothing. Now this is where I'm stuck. Thinking it could possibly be a faulty wire to the fuel pump because I can't hear it running. My mechanic is going to check to see if power is going to it or not. Does anyone have any other suggestions PLEASE, NEED HELP!

Default Still having problems...

Wish I could help but I'm still having the same problems too. Mechanic hasn't been able to identify the problem. Thinking now it is definitely something electrical with the fuel pump. Will update if/when the problem is resolved.

do you have any codes? normally a hard start problem could be the cam sensor failing to recongnize what cylinder to fire on. HAd this problem on my car. worth a check into. The cam sensor is under the timing belt cover. And one towards the rear of the manifold iirc.

You should check your relay contacts for corrosion or discoloration. If corrosion or discoloration is present on relay contact, lightly remove with sand paper. Good luck
