My timing belt failed last night. I hve 104,864 miles on the car. I just saw info on a class action suit about Audi paying for it because it says that the belt doesn't have to be replaced until 105,000 miles. Is this still active or am I out of luck. Don't know all the damage yet, but I know it won't be good. I did have the 80k service done at an Audi dealer, and am current on all oil changes is that makes any difference. I never got a letter about this. I got one for the dash going out (fixed under my extended warranty, now expired), but nothing for the timing belt issue.
