2003 a6 1.8T, 100000 miles in three years, is this bad?
hi,
quick question.
i'm looking at buying another audi (i used to own an a4, loved it) I've found a nice one at a local dealers
2003 a6 1.8T sport
thing is its done 100000 miles in three years.
is this going to be a problem? is it healthy for a car to do 100000 miles in the first 3 years, this is more than 3 times the average mileage
im worried about what may need replacing soon after 100000, i assume its had the timing belt done, need to check this
any advice from audi engines experts would be great.
thanks in advance

Its probably not that bad at all. Stop and go traffic is the worst thing for a vehicle, and its really hard to get that many miles on a car unless it was driven almost exclusivly on the highway. Have it checked out as it prbably will require some suspension work, but the engine should be in tip top shape as long as the oil was changed regularly.
