Default 2003 A6 2.7T MT6- clutch replacement advice?

Subject is a 2003 A6 2.7T MT6 with 88k miles. GIAC chipped + Bailey DV + Samco TBB about 10,000 miles and four months ago. Last week I noticed that under heavy acceleration at highway speed the tach wound up but the car wasn't speeding up. Tried medium-to-hard acceleration in gears 3-6 and found that tach would jump and when backed off, there was a small clunk. I'm betting the clutch is worn or glazed and slipping, but have not had time to bring it in to my trusted repair shop.

Assuming I'm right, does anyone have any advice on what brand of performance clutch kit to buy OR avoid? Any anecdotes or recommendations either way would be welcome. I've googled the subject and have some alternatives and will talk to my repair guy - also a speed shop. But any experience from other owners who have been through this would be welcome.
