2006 Audi A4 Idle warning light
Just joined the forums glad to be part of the Audi family.
I have a 2006 A4 with ~20k miles on it and the "your idle is screwed up" warning light popped on today which didn't put me in the best mood. When I have my car in park the engine idles at ~1200 and drops to 1100 RPM or so and climes back up to 1200..Sadly I am at school which is about 450 miles away from the dealership I bought the car so getting service is going to be a pain..
My question is, is this a major issue?

you can take your car to be repaired at any audi dealer if it's under warranty, it doesn't have to be the one you bought it from. try searching the forums to find out how to reset your throttle body, that might help. otherwise take it to a shop to find out what the problem is, and before they fix it come back here and see if it's something you can do yourself for cheap.
