Wife's car, 20,000 miles, wife type driving. She has complained about a "stuttering" feeling under normal braking from highway speed. She says it comes from the front end. A friend was in the car the other day and said he felt/heard it too. Took to dealership and they said rotors are glazed from hard braking and need replacing. They say pads are fine, just rotors. Wait for it... $2000.00. Anybody else have "Glazed Rotors" with pads that are fine? I can get and replace the rotors myself for much cheaper but the diagnosis sounds strange. What say anyone???
