Have new 2017 Q7. Had AAC set at 65 mph. I noticed the rpm were about 2800 and the transmission sounded like it wouldn't shift to a higher gear. Pulled off the highway and shut the engine down. Walked around the car and the wheels seemed very warm. Restarted the car and everything performed normally again. It's almost as if the Emergancy break was on, but it wasn't.

 

did you mean acc? adaptive cruise control? .....did you have the vehicle in auto mode? also, what drive select mode were you in? dynamic will keep the rpms up a bit more for better response
