Have a 2000 a6 quattro 4.2 with a level ten bulletproof tranny. It quit working totally one day. Not so bulletproof huh for $6g! I pulled the tranny lines to radiator (cooler) and started car. No fluid came out. That a sign the front pump is bad in tranny?? If so would that have ruined converter to?

 

No one knows? I unhooked the top tranny cooler line that goes to radiator. Started car. No fluid....does that mean front pump on tranny took a crap??

 

Thought for sure someone would know something
